NADP has contributed to the formation of human resources in the chemical engineering and food engineering areas. Several students have obtained nice results and have published their work in high level journals.

Alexandre Araújo Guilherme Research (Masters): Modeling of lactic acid production Research (Ph.D): Production of second generation alcohol During his Masters, his research has focused on the development of a complex kinetic model for the production of lactic acid by fermentative process. Izabelly Larissa de Lucena Research: Biodiesel production Her research focused on the developmento of an esterification process that used a adsorption column coupled to the chemical reactor, as to remove the water formed during the reaction, thus shifting the chemical equilibrium of the reaction and increasing the yield.
